By uploading or submitting text, documents, images, video or audio recordings, (“Content”) through this online platform, the person submitting the content ("You" or "Your") agrees to Outreach Canada collecting, storing, and using this Content for the following purposes including but not limited to, Website publications, Social media, Printed or digital marketing, Internal communications, Training or educational materials, Media / public relations.
Voluntary Submission
Submitting Content to this online platform acknowledges that you do so voluntarily, with no expectation of payment nor any guarantee that the Content will be published or used.
Rights Granted to the Organization
By submitting, you confirm that:
- You are the owner of the Content or you have full rights to submit and authorize its use.
- You grant Outreach Canada a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish and distribute the Content for the purposes stated.
- You understand that the Content may appear in public online spaces.
Consent to Use
Use of Contact Name
By submitting you confirm that you allow the contact name submitted to be used with the Content.
Consent of People in Content
By submitting you confirm that:
- you understand that submitting images of identifiable people without their consent may violate Canadian privacy laws
- if the Content contains other individuals, you have obtained permission to submit it and to allow Outreach Canada to use it as described.
- If the Content contains images or recordings of a minor, a parent or legal guardian has provided consent.
Storage and Security of People in Content
You understand that:
- the Content may be stored electronically on secure servers.
- Storage may occur inside or outside of Canada, depending on the platform used.
