Classic ReBoot 2026
Classic ReBoot 2026
Date & Time:
August 8-15, 2026
Location:
Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta
Who’s it for:
Classic ReBoot is an annual week-long re-entry retreat for MKs (Missionary Kids) ages 17-20 who have either just returned from overseas or have been back for several years but never attended a re-entry retreat.
What to expect:
Classic ReBoot is a crash course about Canadian culture in a safe place specially designed to build relationships with others as part of easing the transition "home" from the field.
As an MK, your life has been full of unique opportunities, highs and lows, cross-cultural experiences, and multiple transitions.
Perhaps one of the biggest transitions you’ll face is coming back to Canada to study, work, or enjoy a gap year. At Classic ReBoot, you’ll build new relationships with fellow MKs; have a safe place to share what’s on your mind, discuss common challenges, and be equipped to thrive in your transition.
Through sports & outdoor activities, conversation, relationships and incredible teaching, we’ll help you:
- Review and celebrate your life experiences as an MK
- Refresh through fun activities, worship, and meaningful relationships
- Reenter and transition to Canadian life and culture with understanding and confidence.
