New Signs

We just installed new signs on our office. The building is aging, and we lost part of our old sign in a recent windstorm.  Our new signs look great, and this provides an opportunity to look back at a moment in our history.

Looking Back

On May fifth in the year two-thousand, Outreach Canada opened and dedicated our office at 7201 72nd Street in Delta.

Several families gathered that day to celebrate what the Lord had provided for our ministry. Many of the people who gave so OC could own our own office are now with the Lord.

One of the people who contributed significantly toward the early development of OC and the purchase of our office was my mother, Susie Kraft. She never saw OC move into the finished office.

There is a plaque in our office that reads:

These offices are dedicated to God and for His Glory In Loving Memory of

Susie Ann Kraft

With special thanks for her faithful and loving ministry to and through Outreach Canada,

A wife and co-worker who feared the Lord and is worthy of praise

Noble in character, thoughtful and faithful in conduct

Clothed in strength and dignity, marked by wisdom, industry, and compassion

Loved and honored by husband, children, grandchildren, and friends, and the entire OC family.

Looking forward

As I watched the new signs being installed today, I thought of my mother and the many people who formed the strong foundation of OC.

I looked back at photos of who attended that dedication service and saw many who are with the Lord now: Doug and Mary Harris, Ed and Norma Becker, Morley Phillips, Clarence Henderson, Ken and Ann Thompson, and many others.

We are thankful for those who gave to make this possible and we are grateful for the people who continue to support this work and our growing team of over 100 staff and volunteers.

I pray that those who follow will demonstrate the same faithfulness, leadership, humility, grace, generosity, and integrity as those who have gone before. “To God be the glory, great things He has done!”
