Ken Benson is a Global Worker serving with World Partners since 1998. He counts it a privilege to be able to use his teaching and cross-cultural experience to direct MissionPREP in helping prepare God’s servants for effective cross-cultural ministry and debriefing them as they return. MissionPREP’s exciting new future joining with MORE in 2025 (a ministry of Outreach Canada) opens a new chapter to be “Stronger Together”.
Ken’s experience as a teacher, youth pastor and church planter prepared him for church planting in Portugal from 1998-2011. Other short-term cross-cultural projects include Mexico, and First Nations villages in the Northwest Territories and Northern Manitoba. Ken has been involved in training and debriefing global workers since 2011, and director of MissionPREP since 2013. He enjoys cycling, hiking, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Ken's favourite scripture is Exodus 33:14 "The Lord said to Moses, 'My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest.'"
