Pat was born in Newcastle on Tyne England and in 1962 following training as a State Registered Nurse and then getting married, she and John emigrated to Canada. Missions had always been on the forefront of her mind since being a small girl – however nothing worked out until John agreed to go to Bible School. While attending Northwest Baptist Theological College a speaker from Gospel Recordings sparked their interest and so in early 1971 they packed all their belongings and along with their 2 daughters, Lyn and Leslie stepped out in faith trusting the Lord to supply all their needs as they embarked on their missionary career.
They served with Gospel Recordings (now Global Recordings Network) in the USA, Canada, Kenya and England over a period of 19 years before the Lord led them out of that ministry to take over the leadership of the Centre for World Mission BC in Abbotsford, BC. They directed the work of CWMBC for 14 years before retiring. It was during this time that they became involved with Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and Pat continues to have an active role with Perspectives both in Coordinating courses and on the BC Leadership team.
Their 2 daughters are married – Lyn and husband Kerry live in Abbotsford, and Leslie and husband Domenic and their 2 boys Michael (19) and Matthew (17) live in Calgary.
Pat and her husband attend Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church where she is active on the 50+ Committee. Pat is also on the board of Missions Fest Vancouver and both she and John are on the Board of ReachAcross (formerly Red Sea Mission Team)
